I tried a new recipe. I like new recipes.
I meant to post this in time for the Holiday Cookie Exchange.
But it didn’t happen.
So I’m still going to share it anyway.
3/4 c honey
1/2 c milk
1/2 c cocoa
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 c oatmeal
1/2 c coconut
Mix coconut oil, honey milk and cocoa in a sauce pan and heat to a boil.

WHAT WE THOUGHT…
We split the batch in half and my husband, lover of anything peppermint, added a few drops of YL’s peppermint essential oil to his half.
These aren’t much like the traditional no bake chocolate chewy cookies you’ve probably had. They do need to stay in the refrigerator or they start to get pretty soft, but not quite runny.
I liked them though.
They had all good organic ingredients, and of course chocolate, so OF COURSE I ate them! (but not all of them…I’m trying to loose the baby weight… holiday’s and all.)
