Simple Woman’s Daybook

For today: September 18, 2011

Outside my window: is solid clouds. We’ve been driving with the same rainstorm and clouds for 4 states.

I am thinking: that the sleep deprivation may not end soon. That I feel I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. That I’m excited to have time to finally really pack this week. (I hope!!) That I’m too old for road trips. That I’m going to start digging for gold, or oil, or buried treasure when I get home so I can buy a plane ticket next time. That I’m very excited blogger finally has an iPhone blogging app.

I am thankful for: our current house and soon to be new house!! For friends I will soon live near!

In the kitchen: I’m not really sure. Husband’s been home all weekend packing the barn and garage. (But I know he’s an excellent kitchen-cleaner… Really! So I’m betting it’s at least clean!)

I am creating: a plan of attack on another rough week ahead… But fully aware and prepared for my plans to fall through. God’s been teaching me that lesson very faithfully lately.

I am going to: eat pizza tonight and go to bed early!

I am pondering: hope. Such an interesting thing.

I am reading: The Ministry of Motherhood. Grace for the Good Girl. What the Dog Saw is my current audiobook.

I am hoping: Aaron’s birthday present comes in time. And we can get a hitch for the van soon and still get in a camping trip this fall.

I am looking forward to: my sisters wedding! Bridesmaid’s dresses just came in!! …hope there’s time to go get it soon… And find some cool black shoes to go with it!!! And my new blog at wordpress …soon to come!

I am hearing: road noise. Pandora radio.

Around the house: it’s looking less home-y… Boxes neatly stacked in almost every room.

One of my favorite things: large bodies of water.

A few plans for the rest of the week: a meeting Monday night. AWANA on Wednesday. Packing in all the in between spaces.
