What’s On Your Nightstand?

I’m joining 5 Minutes for Books again this month… BUT… I’m a week late.  Somehow, last week I totally forgot about it being the 4th Tuesday of the month!  Silly me!

It’s that time of year again, I’m spending more time with people than with my nose in a book. But, I’m OK with that.  Last week we had a full house and a warm fire in the fireplace all of our long weekend!  It was perfect!

Since I’m a week late and my list is short I’ll get right to it…

I’m still plugging through the audiobook Emma.  I may have been known to watch “Clueless” a time or two (or three) back in college.  I’m having fun finding the similarities.  (But don’t get me wrong, I prefer the Jane Austen version by far!)

I hope to start A Year In Provence in a day or two.  My sister and I are sharing the book, our December book club book.  We are also supposed to share it with another book club member.  So I best do some of my fastest reading!  Our December meeting is the 8th!!

I did finish up a few books in the past month including, Grace for the Good Girl, Velma Still Cooks in Leeway, and The Ministry of Motherhood.  I’d recommend them all too!

I’m not sure what’s up next on my nightstand.  Maybe The Help, our January book club book, but I bet I read something else before I get to that one.  My “to-read” list is long… so I guess you’ll just have to show up next month to see what I picked next!

Happy Reading!

Wow you are plowing through books!

If I am the third book club member you’re referring to sharing “A Year in Provence” with, no worries. We found a copy at the AU library. So if it’s me, you have some extra time. If not, better get to reading! 😉

Shoo! Yes, you were the other member! So glad I’ve got some more time… Janet hasn’t got any further in yet it :-)
