The newest development since my last book update: I’m now the proud owner of a Kindle Touch! It was the perfect Mother’s Day gift for this book-loving-book-club lady! Thanks David, Aaron, and Lydia!

Now, with a beach vacation on the horizon, and the endless number of books at my my fingertips, who knows where I’ll end up in a month when this Spring challenge comes to a end. I’d still like to stick to my original list… but I KNOW I’ll be reading a few books on the Kindle I hadn’t orignially planned. :-)

    I just got a Kindle Touch a few weeks ago, courtesy of my mom, and I am loving it!

    Sounds like you are trucking along on your list. I remember really liking the Kate Jacobs’ book.

    Congrats on getting almost to the end of Les Mis–I’d call even just that one a huge accomplishment. Of course you’ll end up reading some unplanned books. What fun would life be if you didn’t? And to get to do them on a new Kindle? How nice :-)

    Part 7 of 7 in Les Mis? Congratulations! That one is still on my to-read. I started it several, several months ago and didn’t finish it because it is just such a chunk of a book. Listening to it sounds like a smart idea to me, though. I might try that.

    And yay for Kindles! I have the “old” Kindle Keyboard, which was new last year, and I love it.
