Day 15 –  Book Club Theme Nights

Well, we are making great progress through our month all about “book clubbing” and we’ve made it to the half way point. Now, I’ll share about The Extras… by that I mean = all the fun stuff!

Cutting right to the chase, here are some ideas of themes:

a book/movie night
reading two books on one topic
celebrate an author’s birthday: everyone read their book of choice by that author
literary holidays
Banned Book Night

Maybe your club will choose a theme for the year or for just a season? You could choose…

Food Related Books (or cookbooks!)
Women Authors
New Releases
Period Books (19 century, 20th century, etc)

    I found you from Amy’s site, the pentriloquist. Somehow I missed you in the 31 day list. I love your topic! I’m in 2 book clubs –both very different. I’ve never done a theme book club meeting and have always wanted to — I think I’ll suggest it at next meeting : )
