I’m fairly new to Young Living and actually have RC coming in my next shipment. I have a question about the diffuser. You mention you turn it on for a 1/2 hour then again later for a 1/2 hour. I usually just turn it on and let it run until it shuts off. Is there a right or wrong amount of time to run the diffuser?

I’m not really sure. I sometimes leave it on and let it run until it empties too. The Higley reference guide says “The greatest therapeutic benefit is received by diffusing oils for only 15 minutes out of an hour so the olfactory system has time to recover before receiving more oils.) But honestly I usually have so much going on I don’t have time to monitor the diffuser that much 😉 I think the TheraPro diffuser does have several settings so you can adjust it to diffuse 15 every hour, but I don’t have that one. Maybe some day!

Let the stupid questions begin — how do you diffuse the oil?

No, not stupid. I should have listed some of the options. I have the Home Diffuser that Young Living carries. But before that I would put a drop or two of oil on cotton balls and spread them around the room in a pinch. (Although that wasn’t super affective.) My friend Jodi just shared about the Aroma2Go diffuser a few days ago… now she has me sold on that! It’d be great to have another diffuser then more than one child is sick so I can diffuse for them both as they sleep. Yes love this oil. I use it everyday for myself. It has replaced my asthma inhalers
