The Simple Woman’s Daybook

FOR TODAY ~ December 7, 2010 | 7:15 pm

Outside my window… it’s dark. It looks much later than it really is. It’s also cold. 17 degrees.

I am thinking… about all kinds of things. to-do lists. plans for the holidays. and these wonderful 15 months with Lydia! and how fast they’ve gone!

I am thankful for…our health and all the healthy food I’m able to find and serve my family.

From the kitchen…I made pizza for dinner. So fast. so easy. SO good!

I am creating… ornaments and a Christmas photo card.

I am going…make some more chocolate chip cookies, put Aaron in bed soon, and finish editing some of the Christmas pics I took of the kids…. also, hopefully, I’ll catch up on my photoblog tonight.

I am reading…Little Women and the Bible

I am hoping…to be productive this week and get some extra meals in the freezer.

I am hearing…Aaron playing.

Around the house…I see a mildly decorated Christmas tree… in honor of the resident 15 month old (but our Christmas spirit is anything but mild!)

One of my favorite things…dinnertime and after… when David’s home and we are all together.

A few plans for the rest of the week…a little Christmas shopping and our first night away -with no kids- in a long time!

Here are 2 picture for thought I am sharing…

(notice the props… the ones I tweeted about… couldn’t get these swapped out for NUTHIN!
